General Manager & Owner
A native of Queens, Danir (or better known to his dell’anima fam as Danny) began his hospitality career as a manager at Tabla where he honed his intuition for warm hospitality under the training of Union Square Hospitality Group. He left Tabla to join dell’anima 10 years ago where he worked his way up to lead the team as general manager. Like most members of small restaurant teams where coworkers are more like family, Danny has never shied away from working several positions - from server and bartender, to manager and, now, a proud owner. He is grateful to call Chef Andrew Whitney both teammate and friend of 10 years, and shares Andrew’s nostalgia for 80s & 90s hip hop, with a side of Latin music and R&B.
